End SARS: Abiodun orders release of Ogun protesters charged to court

Ogun Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has used the instrumentality of the State to free three End SARS protesters charged to court.On Monday, the Isabo Magistrate’s Court in AbeokutaThe trio were accused of disrupting the Owu festival last Saturday.

Abimbola Oyeyemi, Police spokesman, said they “vandalized public properties and injured one police Sergeant on duty at the palace.”“On my instruction, the Attorney General has reviewed the evidence in the investigation case file in respect of the three suspects that were remanded in a custodial centre on 12th October, 2020. Ogun State has decided not to charge them with any offence. They are to be released immediately”, he tweeted.
