The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, on Tuesday clocked 79 years old.Daddy Adeboye or ‘Daddy GO’ as he is fondly called is one of the most revered men of God in Nigeria.He obtained not only a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria in 1967, but also a Masters Degree in Hydrodynamics and a Doctorate Degree in Applied Mathematics, both from the University of Lagos, in 1969 and 1975 respectively.
Nigerians and numerous well-wishers took to social media especially Twitter and Instagram to celebrate the preacher with the hashtag #EAA79. Ekpo Michael said, “Happy birthday to a great man worthy of emulation, our father, an astute teacher, an excellent coach and an exceptional role model, Pastor Adeboye. We are grateful to God for 79 glorious years. God bless you abundantly Daddy GO we love, appreciate and celebrate you greatly.”
