The Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF), has distributed drugs worth about N1bn to 21 health institutions across the six geopolitical zones to support the healthcare service delivery system in the country.

Speaking during the presentation of the drugs at the Foundation’s 2021 National distribution of medicine/medical supplies in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Council of Anambra State, yesterday, Coordinator of the foundation, Tony Obi, said distribution was based on judicious use of the items by the beneficiaries after close monitoring.

“Since inception, we have focused on education, health and empowerment. Today is the second time we are distributing drugs to 21 health institutions across the country.Speaking, Managing Director of Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc, Praveen Chorghade, commended the benefactor for the largesse, adding that he has been deploying his resources for the benefit of mankind through interventions in education, health and capacity building over the years.

“What we are witnessing today is encouraging and commendable, as it will impact positively on the healthcare needs of the benefiting institutions,” he said.
