Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has hinted that the Federal Government may sue the National Assembly over Electoral Act.

He made this known while fielding questions from State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Section 84 prevents political office holders from contesting for election from the party primary level without resigning.

After the death of late Abba Kyari, you toke over as the elephant in the room. If I may ask what's your business with the Electoral act?🤔

This Malami, na him dey scatter 9ja. Go and resign if you want to be governor of your state. They can’t bend the law because of just you. You’re too little to Nigeria constitution.

He wants to contest something but the laws was targeted at him because of his excesses now he wants to go to court in the name of the gvt to achieve his selfish aim problem is Nigeria does not have consitutional court

How Malami became a SAN is where Yahoo boys draw their lesson 101 from.

If you and your principal are not comfortable with the the Electoral law. Get a rope tire yourself and go to hell or you huge the transformer. We're tired of you people.

Why don't we try and know what the electoral act reads before we judge this man. I'm not in support of this govt but the act which this greedy Nass rejected states that 'You can't contest a primary election while holding a position'. Sometimes no be everything we go criticise
