His application for “dismissal of charges” of conspiracy to facilitate organ harvesting of David Nwamini’s kidney was also thrown out alongside those of his wife, Beatrice and their daughter, Sonia. In the bail application, the defence team argued that “he is a highly regarded well known public figure,” and also referenced the fact that he “attended COP 26 in this country and represented Nigeria” on climate change discussions, but the prosecution hammered on his being a flight risk. He told the court that Ekweremadu might take flight and not return to attend the trial if granted bail. However, his barrister said he couldn’t do that nor leave his sick daughter and wife behind.

This sound him right because he is wicked and evil

Nawa 4 dis life ooo.. after 40 houses na inside cage dem wan spend Christmas..eyaah sorry o.. indeed money nor be everything ooo..May money culture continue to fail..

If his alleged crime was committed in naija, he will be so free (with all the pawns in his hand) that I dare say he'll be in the Senate pontificating on the rights of the Nigerian ... and also, he'll be on the campaign trail promising heaven on earth to the downtrodden.

Ụwa na eme ntụgharị, ónyé ejila ya ányá isi.

By the time he comes back, a new Nigeria would have been birthed and led by Peter Obi.

Good for him

That's fair. He should relax and enjoy it.

How have the mighty fallen?

E be like say na UK sabi handle our politicians, cos if na here na that same day dem go release am. God bless UK 🇬🇧 🕺🏿🕺🏿🕺🏿

Many are deceived by false assumption, but it is written 'hand join in hand, the wicked will not go unpunished'

Well,there's always a first time

Inasmuch I don't wish anyone bad if they's need for him to spend Christmas behind is no big deal

Chai!

Many Nigerians are behind bars in these period it doesn't make the news can we pls talk about important issues that affect the lives of the citizenry

Good for him,So that next time he’ll not speak against Peter OBI.

Miracle no dey tire Jesus 😂.

Ask for forgiveness and your sins shall be forgiven And you will go home to sin no more but failure to you shall remain behind bars or concrete walls 😂😂 to be obidient yusful is better than sacrifices

That’s the difference between Nigeria and abroad

Good news

They should throw the keys away.

I don’t pity him. If he were a free man, he would be jumping up and down spewing trash in support of his follow oppressor to be president come 2023

Olorun Agbaye o you are MIGHTY. officialABAT you will soon be this disgraced. Continue your evil deeds o

Good!!!

Is well with him oo !!
