According to him, 400 new teachers were, in addition, recruited into the public secondary schools in the state in the recent recruitment exercise purposely to boost the Ekiti education sector.

The Ekiti State Government on Thursday said no fewer than 600 workers have been recruited to boost the state’s workforce.

He added that 53 candidates were also injected into the Ekiti Board for Technical and Vocational Education and have been duly assigned to offices, except four of them that were yet to also collect their letters of appointment. The Commissioner added that the efforts are also in the pipeline for the Office of Establishment to release the results of applicants into the junior cadre of the Civil Service.
