The Ekiti State Government has received 46,000 doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccines from the Federal Government.
Dr. Filani explained that the second phase Vaccination was a continuation of the exercise that was kick started by Governor Kayode Fayemi on Wednesday 10th March, 2021. Highlighting the government’s interventions and efforts to curtail the Corona Virus to include establishment of Molecular Laboratory, the use of Rapid Diagnostic Tests for testing as well as the establishment of Emergency Operation Centres in all the 16 Local Government Areas and expansion of sample collection centers, Filani assured that the government would continue leave no stone unturned towards ensuring the safety of all and sundry in the State.
Filani advised residents of the state to take advantage of the government’s gesture to get vaccinated, stressing that getting immunized remains the most effective way to curtail the virus.
