The Ekiti State Police Command has warned residents against the use of unauthorized use of number plates, siren, tinted glasses, among others. This was contained in a statement in Ado-Ekiti released by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sunday Abutu.

According to the Commissioner of Police , CP Akinwale Kunle Adeniran, anyone found wanting of defaulting the order wil be made to face the full wrath of the law. He cautioned residents of the State to desist from the act noting that upon intelligence reports, criminal elements hide under these illegalities to perpetrate crime.

“Intelligence at our disposal also has it that criminal elements hide under these illegalities and impunity to perpetrate their own nefarious activities, not excluding innocent citizens, whose stolen vehicles could not be traced or recovered due to their negligence and refusal to have and fix plate numbers.
