Ekiti approves N314.5m for furniture, laptops, others

has approved N314,500,000 for procurement of furniture items, office equipment, laptop computers and other working tools for workers in the state.

Olatunbosun said the move was part of efforts to boost efficient service delivery of some selected workers across the Ministries, Departments and Agencies to collate report of the various activities of the state government for measurement and evaluation purposes. Olatunbosun added that the approval for direct purchase was premised on the existing technical partnership on Waste Management and transfer of knowledge and technology between the Ekiti State Waste Management Authority and Lagos State Waste Management Authority.

“The State Executive Council proactively instituted a committee to look into the State’s environmental sanitation system and come up with a holistic framework that will engender improved sanitation practice in the State.
