The Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Umaru Muri, has asked residents of the state to adhere strictly to preventive tips against COVID-19 and would deal decisively with anybody or group that

violated the lockdown and social distancing orders during the festive period.

The commissioner said the command had drawn up a strategy that would take care of criminal elements during the lockdown and the Eid-el-fitri celebration in the state. These operatives, he said, would be hard on those who attempt to foment trouble in the state, saying that the command would ensure compliance with the lockdown and provide tight security across the state.

The statement read, “The Kaduna State Police Command wishes to inform members of the general public that, it has drawn out an elaborate operational strategy to ensure compliance with the total lockdown order imposed by the state government to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic and intensive security coverage to checkmate the activities of criminal elements during EID-EL-FITRI period throughout the...
