Eid-el-Fitr: Pray for restoration of peace in our nation, Uba Sani tells Nigerians

Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna, has asked Nigerians to pray for the restoration of peace and security in Nigeria.

“I wish to felicitate with my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters in Kaduna State, Nigeria and across the globe on the joyous occasion of Eid-El-Fitr, the celebration of the end of the Ramadan fasting, one of the five pillars of Islam,” the statement reads. “I call on all Nigerians to use the Eid-el-Fitr celebration to pray for the restoration of peace and security in our communities. May we see the end of terrorism, banditry, insurgency, kidnapping and other forms of violent crime in Nigeria.
