EFCC Queries Ex-Kwara Revenue Boss, Ex-Lawmaker Over Alleged N5bn Fraud

The immediate past Chairman of the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service, Professor Muritala Awodu, and a former member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Moshood Bakare, are being interrogated.It explained that both men were questioned by its Ilorin Zonal Office operatives along with some staff of the agency over an allegation of fraud to the tune of N5 billion belonging to the revenue service.

The tweets came three weeks after the EFCC invited 16 Local Government chairmen in Kwara for allegedly misappropriating part of a N4 billion loan and 10 per cent of the Internally Generated Revenue.
