The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested two Chinese for offering the sum of N100m as bribe to the Zonal head of the anti-graft agency in Sokoto State, Mr Abdullahi Lawal.
According to the EFCC, the sum was allegedly offered in a desperate bid to compromise ongoing investigations of a construction company, China Zhonghao Nig. Ltd, which was handling contracts awarded by the Zamfara State Government in the sum of N50,000,000,000.00 between 2012 to 2019.
I feel for them. If they no dey offer. They loose contract. If they offer they go behind bar. Any contractor feel collect contract without seeing oga in office? But seems thats what audience love to see now. A Chinese in spot light. But what has changed? Welldone efcc
Now we feel it's right to do to others what we can't have them do to us. So offenders can be shown publicly this way, and we Nigerians who are really killing the nation in many aspects. We only hear the news & not see the individuals involved, but because they're foreigners?
