The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission , yesterday, brought three men before the Federal High Court, Lagos, in connection with N1,403,343,400 fraud. The defendants include Kogi State House of Assembly candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party for Ankpa II Constituency, Ismaila Atumeyi.The EFCC, through its counsel, Rotimi Oyedepo, preferred 18 counts bordering on concealment of proceeds of fraud, money laundering and cybercrime against the defendants.
