The Enugu Electricity Distribution Plc has said it is in the best interest of the company to have all its customers across the South-east metered.

This was made known by the Acting Managing Director of the distribution company, Mr. Paul Okeke, during his presentation at the Revised Enugu State Business Agenda Stakeholders’ Conference, organized by the Enugu Coalition of Business and Professional Association in Enugu. He also acknowledged the ongoing National Mass Metering Programme , an initiative of the federal government, saying it would go a long way in ensuring that more customers are metered.

He expressed concern over the poor payment attitude of customers, pointing it out as one of the challenges the company is grappling with.

When we don't have light around UNN

What is the essence of metering without giving light? Imagine that today, no light to know what's happening in our country/city. Odiegwu!!!

EKEDP has to be the worst power distribution company in Nigeria. Come to Surulere and Yaba to confirm my assertion. If there is no fault there is issue with supply. We had light for less than 2 hours yesterday.

EKEDP see your life🙄🙄,they are doing better than u like mad in the east.Light is readily available at least 14 hours a day here in Obiagu Enugu,i wish u can emulate there feat and learn from them enugudisco
