Management of Edo Specialist Hospital , yesterday, promised free medical services to no fewer than 2,000 persons, as it unveils a healthcare package designed for Edo people in line with the vision and aspiration of Governor Godwin Obaseki. Addressing newsmen on activities to mark the free healthcare programme, tagged Edo Health Impact, the Chief Medical Director of Edo Specialist Hospital, Prof. Ileogben Sunday Adeoye, said the programme would ensure affordable healthcare services in the state.

The CMD said contrary to claims by some residents that ESH is for the rich, the hospital was designed to take care of Edo People at a reduced cost, in line with the vision of Obaseki. According to the CMD, the hospital has facilities to diagnose and treat patients with various diseases.
