A lawmaker in the 8th and 9th Senate for Edo South Senatorial District, Matthew Urhoghide; and a former representative of Oredo constituency of Edo State in the House of Representatives, Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama; and other bigwigs of the Peoples Democratic Party , will join the All Progressives Congress today in Benin.
The ex-Rep said: “At Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin in June 2020, PDP’s leaders and stakeholders from Edo South prevailed on me to please save Governor Godwin Obaseki from political public disgrace. Ogbeide-Ihama also stated that he had kept quiet for too long, and it was now time for him to speak up, while pointing out that the legacy coalition was used and dumped by Obaseki, but the members would not allow a repeat this time round.
He said, “The youths are not to see themselves as just leaders in the future but are leaders of the nation now. The youths are in a position to help, build, rehabilitate, and change Nigeria for the better.
