Edo 2020: Obi Mobilises Igbo Community For Obaseki’s Reelection | Leadership Newspaper

Former Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 presidential election, Mr. Peter Obi, has urged the Igbo Community in Edo State to come out en masse on Saturday to reelect Governor Godwin Obaseki, candidate of the PDP to enable the governor consolidate on his achievements in the first term.

Obi said: “Obaseki is one of those that are committed to building a better Nigeria and one of those that are committed to ensuring that we leave for our children a future that is free of anarchy.”“Vote for him, support him; he is not like that man that told us that his opponent cannot be trusted and coming back to say we should vote for the same person. Are we fools?” he queried.

Similarly, the PDP Igbo Community Unit in Edo, under the leadership of Mr. Samson Awekhai commended Obaseki for creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
