Church activities heralding the death, and subsequent resurrection of Jesus Christ are ongoing in Kaduna State as Christians mark Good Friday.

Several churches in Kaduna were open praising God, singing hymns and fasting to seek the forgiveness of their sins. At St. Andrew Catholic Church, Rev. Father John Madaki told the mourners that those who seek the face of God would never lack, adding that by prayers and supplication, they would surely inherit the kingdom of God.
