There was mild drama in the Senate on Tuesday following comment by Senator Smart Adeyemi referring to Abia Governor as a “drunk.”
However, Abaribe expressed surprise at Adeyemi’s outburst denying ever making the statement in question. “We are bordered by nine states but we had an experience of the unfortunate incidents that are happening in neighbouring states.“Some governors are committed to the protection of their people. In my state, the governor awarded contracts for the renovations of schools and provides security services to them.
“What has happened is what we see going on today. People write something and tag your name to it. And if you don’t ask question, you will not know whether you actually said it or not.
Senator Abaribe is right.. Gov Yahaya Bello is a complete reflection that youths might not be the solution to the current menace in Government.. Senator Smart Adeyemi is just playing politics.
Mr Smart Ademyemi the senator from Kogi state goofed bug time. Respond to the message rather than attacking the messenger.

Even if Senator Abaribe didn't make the statement that warranted Senator Adeyemi referring to Abia State as ' State being govern by Drunkard', it's glaring that it best describe Abia State governance so far. Moreso, it's been governed by Drunkards since 1999!
