Borussia Dortmund delivered a shock 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in their UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg tie at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris on Tuesday.
Mats Hummels, the German defender, scored the only goal as Dortmund won home and away against PSG for the first time, sailing to the final on a 2-0 aggregate victory. Kylian Mbappe was electric with the feet and was first to have a chance saved early on. The speedy winger also created chances for Vitinha and Dembele but both failed to make them count.
Karim Adeyemi was also thwarted by PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as Dortmund attempted to take the lead against the run of play.While PSG finished the first half the better side, Dortmund went ahead minutes later through Hummels. The 35-year-old defender converted a bullet header from a corner kick to hand the Germans a 1-0 lead on the night and a two-goal aggregate.
