Falana spoke while reacting to a criminal complaint lodged against him at the International Criminal Court, The Hague, Netherlands, by one Joseph Nwaegbu, a Senior Associate of Pathfind Attorneys on behalf of Make Nigeria Better Initiative.

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, has cautioned some Nigerians against being used as a tool of repression by those in transient positions of authority.The group accused the human rights lawyer of “spreading fake news to further incite the youth in the country against the government, which led to killings and destruction of properties” during the EndSARS protests across Nigeria in October.

“I move around the world and I have easy and undisturbed passage. I hope the shadowy minders and paymasters of Mr Joseph Nwaegbu, Pathfind Attorneys, MNBI are able to do likewise. In fact, I challenge them to dare. “They should learn from their USA counterparts who, despite all encouragement by the President of the country, refused to run such errands for those in transient political authority.
