History is repeating itself. The APC has pointedly refused to make Tinubu the BOT chairman of the party.

In the recent NEC meeting where a new National Working Committee of the party was inaugurated, Tinubu, as the glorified national leader, could not even attend because his post is fictional, it does not exist in the party’s constitution.
