‘Don’t allow Nigeria drift into anarchy’ — Obi asks FG to end killings | TheCable

June 6, 2023 11:25 AMPeter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, has asked the federal government to combat the spate of insecurity across the country.In May, over 100 people were reportedlyReacting, Obi condemned the killings, describing them as “wastage of sacred human lives”.

“These fatalities are not just numbers, but wastages of sacred human lives; of people who lived among us as family members, relatives and friends. “While appreciating the efforts of governments at all levels and security agencies, I respectfully appeal that they do more to arrest this situation before it deteriorates further.“Governments and the security agencies must not allow the nation to continue this drift towards anarchy. I sincerely commiserate with the affected families,” he said.
