‘Diesel price hike, lack of spare parts’ — Lagos increases BRT fares for ALL routes | TheCable

Kolawole Ojelabi, assistant director, corporate communication of Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority , disclosed the development in a statement on Thursday.

“To sustain the operations of regulated bus services in Lagos State, the State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved a flat rate increase by N100 in bus fares for all Bus Rapid Transit and standard routes,” Ojelabi said.

Lo bá tán.. I thought Lagos State government are running the transportation based on humanitarian, and subsidy 😂.. The initial plans was to face 😔 out the the popular (Molue) I think all over the world government transit buses were to make movement of it citizen easy.

These are some of our procurement problems lagos state bought about 820 of this marcopola buses & Mercedes Benz buses among others. No any deal to secure their spare parts. How can you buy such huge buses without procuring additional spare parts.this followlasg

IVM was there for them to purchase rather they prefer another countries bland now they are complaining of lack of spare parts
