Despite industrial court judgement, UI refuses to recognise staff school teachers

The peaceful protest was led by the Chairman, Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities , UI chapter, Comrade Wale Akinremi, in company of his Non-Academic Staff Union counterpart, Comrade Malachi Etim.Akinremi, who said about 65 teachers are currently affected further disclosed that the union took up the matter after a congress resolution, and had written a letter in May 2019, in that direction to the institution’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Idowu Olayinka.
