Democracy Day: ‘Declare MKO Abiola president’- NANS tells Buhari

Mr Danielson Akpan, National President of NANS gave the charge in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja on Wednesday.

According to him, on this Democracy Day celebration, I call on all leaders who are beneficiaries of the long struggle for democratic governance to see it as service to the people, not for self. “This is the best that can be given to Nigerians and project for a future our founding fathers planned for Nigeria.

“NANS describes this declaration as a great honour to Nigerians and the fallen heroes who had paid the maximum sacrifice in sustaining the country’s hard-earned democracy.
