Also in the competition are Kwara Falcons, Ebun Comets, Hoops and Read, as well as Oluyole Warriors from the Ibadan zone. A total of 12 teams competed in the first phase of the Atlantic Conference held in Asaba and Ibadan in October, where the top four teams from each of the zones qualified for this phase.
