Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, DSCTDA, has condemned the attitude of dropping waste inside drainage and road median.

The Director General of the agency, Patrick Ukah, stated this Thursday during the inspection of residential and business premises within the capital territory and its environs, lamenting the blockage to free flow of water especially when it rains.

Since they do it in the dark, we too will deal with them in such way. We must make the state beautiful. 'We shall prosecute any defaulters at the mobile courts in accordance with the provisions of the law. My pain is people dumping the waste. We even noticed property developers blocking the drainage with sand and stones which they dump on the roads and gutters. We even gave notice but they do not comply. The next thing to do is to issue a bench warrant,' Ukah warned.
