THE Deputy Chairman of Deloitte West Africa, Femi Abegunde, died on Monday in the United Kingdom.One source added that the firm had since informed its staff of the death through e-mail.

According to the source, a top official within the company confirmed that Abegunde indeed died of COVID complications. Before his death, Abegunde was heading the Energy and Resources Industry, Deloitte West Africa and also a member of the Deloitte Africa Executive committee, representing West Africa on the African Board.
