The Minister of Defence, Muhammed Abubakar, has assured Nigerians that the abducted pupils of Kuriga Secondary and Primary Schools in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State will soon be rescued.

The minister said he was in the state to encourage the military to battle terrorism across the North-west zone being their area of responsibility. Abubakar, however, told troops that the President expected more from them to end all forms of insecurity across the country.
