The Northern Youths Council of Nigeria has described the declaration of bandits, Yan Bindiga and Yan Ta’ada as terrorists by Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court Abuja as long over due.
So-called banditry thrived for close to a decade before officials decided they were not bandits anymore. Do we have to go the same route with the now terrorists? The sooner Abuja come to terms with the fact that Nigeria is confronted with multiple insurgencies the better.
What difference will this declaration make? Will it make it easier to catch them?
The solidarity of the northern youths to come together to accept the aggressive taking down of the terrorist who share similar tribes with them is great news for peace and unity .I hope d south east will shake off d influence of ethnic bigotry and allow d govt to go hard on IPOB
It took them forever resulting in the death of many, deep pains and lost of properties which I believed they are responsible for, out of sentiment for their people
