The Zone B Customs Strike Force Team, comprising North West, North East and North Central states have arrested 3 smugglers and intercepted several

The head of the Zone B team, Alhaji Useni Aliyu Olurukooba, disclosed this while addressing journalists at the Katsina Command on Tuesday.

According to him, ’’the interception and arrests demonstrates that no matter how much investment the smugglers made on contraband items, it will eventually turn a waste’’ He however disclosed that “those arrested were earlier detained and after obtaining their statement were later released since the offence were bailable and they are expected to appear in courts.’’
