Men of the Nigeria Customs Service, Ogun Area Command, have intercepted 7,311 50 kilogramme bags of foreign parboiled rice loaded in 12 trailers.The Area Controller, Dera Nnadi, disclosed this on Wednesday at a press briefing at the NCS office in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The controller explained that the command arrested two suspects who were conveying some of the seized hard drugs in Ijebu-Ode en route to the South East.Nnadi said his command also seized 300 litres of vegetable oil, four bales of used clothes, 26 sacks of used shoes and four sacks of used toys. According to him, other seized items are two bundles and four pieces of used tyres with rims, 810 cartons of frozen poultry, 20,775 litres of petrol in 831 kegs, among others.Read Also
