A demolition squad arrived Ekpo Abasi in Calabar South and brought down houses allegedly owned by a suspected kidnap kingpin, Kufre Eyo-Etim, also known as Romance. “These are buildings of suspected kidnappers in Calabar, who also trade in hard drugs. These buildings were used as hideouts for criminals in Calabar metropolis. We have been on this exercise for some time now, trying to fish out the criminals in their hideouts. “For some time now, there have been cases of cult clashes which have led to the death of many people. We are taking those deaths seriously; we must get to the bottom of the matter by arresting those that were involved in all the recorded deaths.
“We will stop at nothing in getting justice for the deaths of those affected. The state government is determined to ensure that lasting peace is returned to Calabar. We are collaborating with all relevant agencies and stakeholders to deliver on this mandate,” he said.
Nice if na true true o.
This abuse of power happens when good leaders are in power, they are still tagged as 'suspect' not found guilty of the accusations level against them.
Why demolishing the house, government should use it as an office
When wike did it people were making noise
Good
This 1 make sense.. Kudos
It easy to point fingers that such was taken if your brother or sister or father etc has been kidnapped and you have to cough out millions u will know that it is the way you look at it. In Cross Riv it has been hell with kidnappers Dr, pastors, etc are being kidnapped on k basis
'SUSPECTED' not 'CONVICTED' - what is going on here?
Here we go again - abuse of power! By what authority did the government demolish? And the report says they're suspects which means they haven't been found guilty by a competent court. These politicians just offend me
Where is SERAP? Where is SAHARA? Where are the human right lawyers? Are you quite bcos he is not Wike?
