UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, warned that millions of people could be pushed into extreme poverty in Africa due to the coronavirus pandemic and called for

“The pandemic threatens African progress. It will aggravate long-standing inequalities and heighten hunger, malnutrition and vulnerability to disease,” Guterres said in a statement accompanying a UN study with recommendations for the African continent.

“African countries should also have quick, equal and affordable access to any eventual vaccine and treatment, that must be considered global public goods,” he said in his statement. Among his recommendations, Guterres urged “international action to strengthen Africa’s health systems, maintain food supplies, avoid a financial crisis.”

All these trains which meant for MigrantLabourers are running without water and food which is against the norms of NEW RAILWAY CATERING POLICY 2017. HungerDeaths a reality in India during CoronaPandemie

Guy stop saying negative things into life of Africans are you saying there’s no poverty in Europe common.

Then our Almighty God will worsen the future generations of bad African leaders and their families with corrupt minds of looting!!!

They forecasted that Africa will be the worst hit with the disease, it seems the reverse is the case. Now they've come again with hunger, let's watch how things turn out.

We will adapt to it in no time.... Thats why we re unique

Africans, value yourselves. Don't allow anyone see you as a Project that need food. Even if we don't have, let us have self respect and not rubbish ourselves to any General Assembly This is part of d cause of Racism all over where every black is seen as a hungry African criminal

See I'm head. Thunder ⚡ fire you.

Can these guys focus on the so called first world and not make Africa (the third world) a pity party. Feed yourselves, and leave us to sort ourselves out. We don't need all u folks to sit around d table to discuss the 'dark continent'. We are fine as we are

Please tell them

Will or has?

Covid_19 will kill more people in other continent than in Africa...idiot

They wouldn't stop focusing on Africa cause that's how they get rich, unfortunately, the leaders give them the temerity to.

That is your expectations naa, you never expected or wished Africans any good thing before before,

We know about this here. They should help us than allowing Bill gate or WHO to predict death like flies on the street of Africa; because Africa cannot and will not succumb to their threat of death

Africa leaders have failed the continent as a whole. With a the resources we are blessed with we still rely heavily on the Western world for survival and direction. Corona is causing more havoc in Europe, but yet they make Africa the centerpiece coz they have sth to achieve.

Tell me sth I don't already know ?

We know already

Are they God? UN are you God? Because is only God that says a thing and it cometh to pass

How do you know. Are u God?

They should just try and communicate with the leaders to provided basic palliatives for the general masses. The greedy Africa leaders don’t care because they are baboons. Only few of them cares. Wonder why the Govt never want to issue out the National ID card for Nigerians?

it obvious this WHO doesn't really mean well for Africa.

Your prophesy shall not come to pass in Africa. You people predicted Africans will be dying of covid19 and you're the one dying. I don't know why blacklisting Africa. Africans are facing internal assault from bad governance and external assault from these white skin folks. Why?

Can't they just shut up

Hmmm... True talk

In Nigeria !! We already know

We don't really care about the COVID19 Its the hunger that's the main issue

Ehn they should send all their food down here, and stop talking in the rubbish
