COVID-19: We Are Now Focused On Kano – NCDC

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control says it is now focusing a lot of its energies on Kano, rather than Lagos, in its coronavirus response.

“It is not because Lagos is not important,” the NCDC boss said, adding that they will continue to support the state, which has the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases. According to the NCDC, only 342 cases and six deaths have been recorded in Kano as at Sunday evening. Kano now has at least two molecular facilities – at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital and Bayero University – that can test for the virus.

Of course now that the focus will be on Kano all children of pedition are up on arms against ot,bit when the FGN rolled out 10 Billion and 6.5 Billion to Lagos state govt and the NCDC respectively, all domiciled in Lagos,no one shouted against it, we have all tribes in Kano dai

God helf emen

Hardly too early! In Kano, if extraordinary care is not taken,Nation faces not just a new vicious epicenter of Covid- 19, but epic disaster of unprecedented proportion!

When are the Chinese Doctors going back?

Federal government should doble efforts in fighting covid -19 pandemic seriously before it will ravage entire Nigeria.

Ibo man what of Lagos State

Pls don't forget to also give them the N15 billion. Your presence wasn't their request. They can fight it with N15 billion

Focus on all the states. Which one is Kano. Is it only Kano that has covid-19?

Please tell us where your fight against Codvid19 is successful first before you focus on one state we all need your help please not only Kano

Meaning other states are on their own

Others state too need ur help oooo......

While focusing on Kano now, NCDCgov be ready for what will come out of Lagos in a few days or weeks. From what we saw today, Lagos is seriously pregnant with numbers.

But Why ? Incompetent people’s

Imaging that.... Why not FCT or Lagos

Make other people die abi?

Lagos still remains the theatre of covid-19 activity in Nigeria! NCDC should not loose focus there at this time, especially now that the lockdown has been relaxed.

Really?, Even when the governor want lockdown to be eased.

This is Lagos today that MBuhari eased the lockdown. You can't focus on Kano alone. Get more resources, increase daily test capacity or it will be totally out of control. We are in the mess together no special preference NCDCgov. COVIDー19

You'd better redirect your focus evenly across Nigeria

That is unacceptable Biko. In the process of doing this, you will loose guard on other states. Let their governor focus on them.

Where have you succeeded so far before focusing on Kano... We have failed in the way and manner the pandemic is handled...

I don't understand

That is a good move. Illiteracy is what killing them, may Allãh forgive me. How can someone rinse his own hand and them drinking it. Isn't that high level of illiteracy? Even if the is cleaned

He good nah*

That's now how he said it o. I watched it live before people will be misled by this caption

Don't waste your time in Kano, aboki man don't understand what social distancing is,not to talk of medical tips.

Imagine

please move everything including CoronaVirusInNigeria to Kano.

You can't focus on just 1 state sir
