COVID-19: Rivers Govt re-opens secondary, vocational, tertiary institutions

The Rivers State Executive Council has approved the reopening of Schools in the State.

“For the avoidance of doubt, the council based on medical advice, did not approve the reopening of Primary Schools in the state which would await a new date in the future. Earlier, the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Paulinus Nsirim re-emphasized that bars and clubs remained closed in the State.Nsirim added that businesses, including Cinemas, Parks and Restaurants should remain operational between 6am-9pm daily.
