The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , has said the restrictive measures by the Federal Government to curb the spread of coronavirus is a matter of life and death.

Buhari, who spoke during a live presidential address on Sunday evening, announced a restriction of movement for a period of 14 days in Lagos State, Ogun State and the Federal Capital Territory.

“However, we must all see this as our national and patriotic duty to control and contain the spread of this virus. I will, therefore, ask all of us affected by this order to put aside our personal comfort to safeguard ourselves and fellow human beings.

What a shame

Hmm. So many of you still not understand or pretend not to know that hunger is deadlier than Covid-19. Even if this government realize that, will it ever consider hunger worthy of declaration of state of emergency or any similar measure for that matter?

Pls sir any amount Is not too small ooo ineed help oooo, pls sir for God sake... We don't have anything to eat at home sir U. B. A bank Acct name : Joseph Tosin account number: 2100211100

Let jidesanwoolu tell MBuhari that Lagos cannot be on total lockdown. Buhari doesn't know anything. Man has been sleeping for long. The constitution and state legislature should come into play at this point.

He should have started by apologizing... He is late... So late... The different states already started the lock down process.....

FG Restriction of Movement in Abuja, Lagos & Ogun is Desirable but Illegal and Unconstitutional. Sec 305 of the 1999 Cons. provides that State of Emergency cannot be proclaimed without recourse to and approval of the National Assembly. Executive fiat cannot take the place of law.
