Jigawa State police command had earlier warned that anybody found violating the lockdown order will be arrested, prosecuted and his vehicle or motorcycle impounded. Jinjiri said their attitude was seen as a sabotage to the Government’s efforts in fighting the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic in the State. “The Jigawa State Police Command has impounded 14 motor vehicles, 132 motorcycles and 3 Keke Napep tricycles over violation of lockdown order,” he said.Related Topics:
