COVID-19: Nigeria records 87 deaths in 18 States as lockdown is eased

Only two States are yet to have any case across the country: Cross River and Kogi.

Of the 34 States that have Coronavirus cases, Gombe, Bauchi, Kwara, Ondo, Kebbi, Nasarawa, Enugu, Taraba, Adamawa, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Plateau, Niger, Imo, Abia, Anambra and Benue states don’t have any casualties yet.Borno is next with 12, while Sokoto and Katsina are next with eight and even deaths, respectively.However, the five-week lockdown imposed by President Muhammadu Buhari, will be relaxed from today.

Selected businesses and workers will resume work, as the government seeks to find a balance between saving the economy and the health of its citizens.
