“Over 110,900 confirmed COVID-19 cases on the African continent – with more than 44,500 recoveries & 3,300 deaths,” it said. Nigeria is now fourth in Africa, ahead of Morocco with 7,839 reported cases and 226 deaths, while the North African nation has 7,429 cases and 198 deaths. The WHO COVID-19 dashboard showed that South Africa, Egypt, and Algeria are the top three countries in Africa with the highest reported COVID-19 cases.
