COVID-19 may increase school drop-outs, forced marriages in Nigeria- Buhari’s Minister

The Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Pauline Tallen, has warned that the COVID-19 pandemic will likely lead to many children dropping out of school in Nigeria.

She explained the Coronavirus pandemic has exposed the girl-child to all forms of violence and sexual exploitation especially with the closure of schools.
