COVID-19: Lagos lawmaker bans visitors

Following the death of one of its members, Hon. Tunde Braimoh who reportedly died of Covid-19 last Friday, all other members of the Lagos House of Assembly were directed to go for Covid-19 test.

In a statement he personally signed, the lawmaker advised Lagosians to comply with the hygiene practices stipulated by the state government and the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control , saying it is a collective responsibility of everyone to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.Adewale, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Transportation, said there is a need to fight the pandemic, which is beyond keeping safe, adding that it is necessary for everybody to know their status.
