The National Economic Council presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has revealed that the Federal Government has paid for 40m doses of Covid-19 vaccines.

This is as it explained that the vaccines will come into the country in batches between October 2021 and January 2022.

This was part of the progress report of the NEC ad-hoc committee interfacing with the presidential task force on COVID-19; chaired by Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa. Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, disclosed this in a statement titled, ‘NEC: States, FG to pay compensation to victims of EndSars protests and prosecute those indicted’.

Absolutely nonsensical of the Nigerian government led by Maj Gen Mohammadu Buhari/APC. Always expecting!!! Are you not ripe to manufacturing your own vaccines Other great nations are progressive but you are busy digging out cattle routes/ruga. Failed country!!

Mr VP, Nigeria ought to be producing her own vaccines now. Two heads are better than one. We can't keep blaming PMB for everything. We can think outside the box. Nigeria is estimated to have a population of 200.0m. Let's produce them and sell some. We are Nigerians for God's sake

Which is not enough for only lagos
