Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has declared the extension of the COVID-19 lockdown in Delta state by another 14 days as part of intensified efforts to contain the spread of the disease.

According to him, the two weeks extension of the stay-at-home order is to enable officials track, identify, isolate and test all who have had contact with the three confirmed cases in the state. Recall that Delta state recorded its first case a week ago. Two others, one of which died, were subsequently recorded in Warri and Asaba, the state’s capital.

This is a Governor working for his people. I saw Bauchi Governor yesterday waiting for PMB to come lockdown his State.

If federal had not extented, would he has extended too? Dont make decisions based on others..
