A Federal High sitting in Enugu State has ordered the Peoples Democratic Party to replace Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s National Secretary.The court, presided over by Justice Cyprian Ajah, directed the party’s National Working Committee to recognise Sunday Udeh-Okoye as the PDP National Secretary.Ajah, who ruled on a motion ex parte on Monday, said the interim order would lapse after seven days. The motion ex parte was filed on Friday by a member of the party, Anaigu Emmanuel.
Justice Ajah ordered the 2nd defendant who is the PDP National Chairman to recognize Udeh-Okoye as the National Secretary pending hearing. The South-East Zonal Executive Committee of the PDP had nominated Udeh-Okoye to replace Senator Anyanwu who is currently running to become governor in Imo state.
