Justice Peter Kekemeke of the FCT High Court gave the verdict on Thursday, NAN reports.

Two police officers, James Ejeh and Simeon Abraham, have been sentenced to death over their alleged involvement in armed robbery.

Kekemeke held that the evidence before the court proved that the convicts committed a robbery while armed and on their uniform. “Countless citizens of this country cry out under the security agencies especially the police who run their guns bought with the taxpayers’ money against Nigerians extorting them with impunity.

“They deserve no pity therefore. In any case, I have no choice because the law tied my hands to the only sentence prescribed by law. I hereby sentence the first and second defendants to death,” he held.

I personally felt it not okay to sentence some persons to death for crimes committed and most especially policemen... I feel there is better sentence that can be given in other not to send the wrong message to the masses and policemen doing good work.

The names of the police are James Ejeh and Simeon Abraham. I hope you understand the reason for the harsh sentence? If their name were Kyari, Usman, Abdullah, they won't be sentenced. Injustice!!!!!

The daily returns to oga at the top was to small that was why they get away with it
