A Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court, on Friday remanded a 37-year old man, Ademola Afeez in a correctional facility for allegedly defiling a 12-year old girl.

A Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court, on Friday, remanded a 37-year-old man, Ademola Afeez in a correctional facility for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl.The Prosecutor, Insp Ayodele Adeosun told the court that the defendant committed the offence at about 9:00a.m on April 19, at Baba-Pupa, Azangbemeh area of Badagry, Lagos.

The prosecutor said the offences contravened Sections 261 and 170 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. A Federal High Court in Ibadan has dismissed the prayer of rejection of exhibit filed by a terror suspect, Aliyu Muhammadu, for want of evidence. The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria says only 58,000 doctors renewed their annual practice licence out of the 130,000 registered doctors in the country.
