A Kaduna Senior Magistrate Court 1 on Thursday ordered Mrs Yemi Awolola, who tortured 14-year-old Princess Michael to be remanded in a correctional facility in the state.

The court maintained that Awolola would remain in the prison until September 10, 2020 when the case would be transferred to a high court.

Magistrate Court on Ibrahim Taiwo Road had on Monday, July 13, adjourned a child torture suit against Awolola till August 27, 2020. But the case came up on Thursday at Magistrate Court 1 following the transfer of the magistrate in charge of Court 3 to another court.All rights reserved.
